Ran SFC, DISM, re-registered app packages through powershell - issues remained. Reset group policy and local security policy settings on the computer to defaults - issues remained. I have excluded this PC from receiving any group policy for the time being - issues remained. I have tried joining the PC to the domain before running any updates, I have tried joining to the domain after running all available updates - same result either way, so installed updates don't seem to have any influence on the issue. PC and pro upgrade purchased in July 2017.Īfter joining the PC to the domain all new applications are broken - Cannot open Start Menu, cannot open app store, cannot open Cortana, cannot open MS Edge, etc. Have a Windows 10 Pro system - It was a Home machine - purchased Pro upgrade. I know there have been other posts about this but please hear me out, I've tried everything and nothing is resolving the issue. I will try to keep this brief but detailed.
